Middletown Mass Care Exercise

The Region 3 Animal Response Team, a component of the Connecticut State Animal Response Team Program, will participate in Operation "Safe Haven" in Middletown, Connecticut on April 17th and 18th. Operation Safe Haven will be a multi-jurisdictional and multi-agency exercise designed to test the involved municipalities readiness for citizen evacuation and mass care. The Region 3 Animal Response Team will deploy, set-up and operate a co-located pet evacuation shelter for the duration of the exercise.
